Llifs – classic nervous films to watch on a long, cold weekend

I previously wrote an article: 3 old ghost films to spend a comfortable Sabbath night. We have given an unintended look (1944), a house on Haunted Hill (1959) and 13 Ghosts (1960). I don’t know about you, but I saw these films several times. Even I have a small house on the haunted hill shrine in my office.

Time in mind, I thought it had come to add it to this list and explore some of the older “nervous” films! You may not see them, or maybe it was really long. While for many of you, the ideal Saturday night consists of a dark building, a state of equipment and we hope some ghosts, there is also nothing better than the comfortable Saturday night on the sofa. If you are still after fixing your paranormal, here are some classic nervous films to send “tingling” to the spine.

Tingler (1959)

You may have now realized that I am a huge Vincent Price fans, so he always makes every list I do! Tingler is a film based on the concept of fear. PRICE plays a world that finds a parasite feeding on a person’s fear, sometimes leading to death. This is why you are “Bose” to break your time when you are afraid. It is a very cheese film by King of Cheesy Gimmiics William Castle. When the film was released in cinemas, Castle falsified certain seats with a device called “Procepto” that would send a shock shaking in the cinema seat at a major moment in the movie. I will not spoil it because it is a great cheese pleasure, but the movie itself inspired an article called a blog called Fear feeding.

Distributing (1963)

There is little confusion about this movie where some believe it depends on a true story. The film is based on the book The Haunting of Hill House, a fictional work. The book was inspired by the tales of many of the most famous hacking during the afternoon, the most prominent of which is Borley Rectory. The plot is surrounded by Dr. John Marcway, who calls for a set of what we can call ghost fishermen to obtain some answers to some strange events that have been connected to the house over the past ninety years. By the end of the movie, you may only ask is it the haunted house or is it people? This film/book has been reshaped several times in movies and TV series, yet this is the best adaptation and is usually at the top of the list as one of the best ghost films in all ages.

Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947)

It is now possible that you have seen the MIM on social media that may have led you to find this delightful movie. This mother’s favorite person used to, so I have been seeing this since I was young. The widow of the funeral in a hut on the small sea shore, which was rented through the alleged allegations of the angry sea captain.

The resident ghost, who was afraid of people, was afraid of his attractive hut, his new guest, to survive, and began a friendship that allows Mrs. Muir to tell the story of the old sea captain in a book they write together. The rest as they say is history. A classic story that heats the heart and does not play in the regular cup that ghosts are outside to make you! In fact, it seems a reminder that the ghosts were also people as well and they have their story and the fact that it tells it. Some claim that this is one of the best films that have ever produced!

Of course, there is a lot that I can add to this list, but now it’s time! What are your favorite old ghost films?
