Recently, I have seen someone identifying as a skeptical activist claiming that the psychological theater shows attract the numbers of a smaller audience, the number of people interested in the average should be. This implicit relationship between the public numbers and belief in the brokers is at least an estimate.
There are a number of other reasons that the famous brokers seem to have a smaller audience numbers today compared to previous years. The increase in the costs of living may mean that the majority of the audience is no longer able to pay the price of tickets to the large theatrical performances, and therefore the tour is smaller. This may be with technology progress, people use phone lines and online services to access psychological readings instead. In addition, the popularity of social media means that it is easier now to contact the local media, media and media than before.
If the public numbers already decrease (which is difficult to establish as a reality), then the most logical solution is that people who believe in media and media go to another place for their readers. Self -belief and the paranormal do not decrease and pay attention to these issues. If anything, it is possible that the opposite is true. After the study, the study showed that the young generations that are now working on adults who have a lower religious authority (PEW, 2012) but find meaning in life through the transformation into magic, spiritual and supernatural instead (Paul, 2018).
As a person who has participated in a paranormal research since 2005 and is also the millennium, this is not surprising. The skeptical movement often traditional traditional stands behind this trend is not surprising because skeptical activity that does not depend on the level of the base, it appears that the older generations are still going on the movement. Many in the skeptical movement do not consider extraordinary allegations that they are important topics to devote time to them is also a contributing factor here.
The smaller fans in Psychic Stage shows are only the so -called “skeptical victory” if you are the skeptical type that carries personal grudges against the famous brokers and your final goal is to prevent people who attend their tours and run the psychological outside the city. If this is the case, then this means that your “skeptical activity” is selfish and self -illness, and not much more. In my experience in skeptical events and in advanced social media groups, this seems to be the position that most skeptical people who see people who are separated by psychological fraudsters as they deserve this result in one way or another because of their concerted stupidity.
How can one effectively address this issue? Well, there are no easy answers. Sometimes, it must be accepted that people only want to believe in particular regardless of the amount of information they provide about the facts of psychological readings. In addition, not everyone who deals with brokers – may help them … but for those who are less fortunate? Elsewhere, given that the measles crisis caused by the anti -vaccination movement still pose a threat to public health, research has shown that it is sympathy and active listening skills, and not the wrong demon that helps to process wrong information and educate people from their illogical position (Almendrala, 2019).
Does this translate into other areas of society where illogical beliefs are formed by exchanging wrong information? I think so! Although there are skeptical activists who employ sympathy for what they do in the minority, and they are also not always in a situation that allows them to obtain a useful speech with people who attend psychological readings or events over a period of time. There is a little opportunity for the confidence -based relationships that will be built in this context that can lead to the exchange of ideas for days, weeks, or even months.
There are still major problems with psychological fraud that target people who often suffer from emotional crises (such as bereavement, mental health conditions, financial pressure, and the collapse of the relationship, but readings are now more and more in particular, as general audit and communication are not often. This is not a new thing as readings have always occurred behind closed doors, and not necessarily on the scale they are today. For some skeptics described by themselves to claim that the battle against self -fraud is winning due to empty seats or smaller places for psychological performances, they are naive and only talk about personal revolts in its place wrapped in the emergence of making the world better.
