Llifs – Third Man Syndrome

From 1914-1916, Ernest Shatkelton and his team went on an exploratory trip to Antarctica. Soon it became a battle for their lives because their boat was bearing in the face Almost certain death. they Series started to cross the treacherous domains and ice rivers in southern Georgia to reach a 36 -hour Zaidan station. Surprisingly, they survived.

Years later, the shortest of my journalist. “It seemed to me that we were in the fourth, not three ” Which helped him reach the trip. They don’t say anything to his comrades at the time, and later admitted that they also felt another person with them. The imaginary number of them provided them with a feeling of hope and direction and is likely to save their lives. Others who have had life-threatening conditions talk about similar stories-that an additional person appeared and directs them to safety. This is called the third man syndrome or the third man.

The title was formulated from the TS Eliot poem, “,”Wasteland

“Who is the third who always walks beside you? When I count, there is just you and I together. But when I look forward on the white road, there is always another road that is going next to you.”

Elliot poem, Barren lands:

John Jigger, who was the author of the book “The third man worker: staying alive is impossible(2010) talks about various scientific interpretations, but he admits that he believes the spiritual interpretation is more logical. Jigger has spent five years to track the stories of people who suffered from the phenomenon of the third man. You may have heard her description as a Existence sensor.

The presence of sensor

The sensitive presence is something that happens to a person who has become isolated or in an unfamiliar environment. In some aspects, they usually suffer from a large amount of stress and can be in a state of life or death. There are incidents in which they are cut off or trapped in a location, or in what they feel is a hopeless position of it. At that time, they feel that they have someone there to help them through the situation, like the guardian of the trustee. An ideal example I saw is used to describe this phenomenon from the movie “Gravity”. Sandra Pollock’s character is stuck alone in space. It stops the oxygen supply in its cabin to complete what it feels inevitable – death. She suddenly got a visit to George Clooney, who died earlier in the movie. Talk to her through the situation. Although she realized that she was hallucinations, she followed his advice and eventually survived the situation. Although this is an extreme example, most of us will not stumble in space, you get the idea. Although it is not known exactly what causes a sensitive presence experience, research indicates that low temperatures seem a common feature.

Possible interpretations of the presence of the sensitive existence include the movement of boats, air or geomagnetic activity, changing sensations and consciousness caused by changes in brain chemistry resulting from stress, lack of oxygen, monotonous stimulation, or hormone accumulation. In fact, there is new and exciting evidence from an OLAF BlankE research group, which indicates that the exact stimulation of the specific brain areas that deceive people to feel “the presence” of a g this

Psychology today

The experience of the sensitive presence can range from a person just a feeling that a close person, to a complete hallucination to see or speak to the person who is already not present. The above tends to a more spiritual experience, others argue that this is what happens when our brain begins to excessive movement, fighting or journey.

Fight or trip

When your mind feels that you are in danger where you feel at risk of harm or attack, it goes to the so -called “sharp stress response” or “sharp response”. Otherwise, it is indicated in the name of fighting or setting the journey. When your mind determines a threat, it releases ibenifrin, (known as adrenaline), which is your body either to run for your life or to stay and confront and fight the threat in front of you. This release of adrenaline allows the body to launch an overload of glucose in the bloodstream that raises our blood sugar level to detonate energy. It allows the bronchial corridors to expand the meaning that we can get more air. Our students expand the creation of what is indicated as seeing a tunnel, which means you focus on a specific area, but you cannot see the angle of your eyes – only what is in front of you. We all have different concerns and different levels of tolerance and this is why this situation is very personal. What might put someone, may not bother someone else at all. All of this comes to our brains. Some people will stand up and face ready fear of fighting and your body has adrenaline ready with additional energy and strength to help you do this. Others will escape instinctive, and again they have additional energy and a lot of oxygen to help them do so. Everything happens in the second divided, and it is an automatic response made by your mind on your behalf. It is not a conscious decision, it is a reaction. It is something that is turned on when the brain feels that you are in a threat. It may be a very real physical threat or it may be fake. So, although you don’t see it, you may feel it. Either way, your body interacts.

The most interesting thing about this phenomenon is that we know it exists. Although it may be spiritual or scientific, what cannot be said is that it seems to be the factor specified for survival in critical conditions.

If we understand that the third man factor is part of us, the adrenaline method … we can start access to it more easily. It is not hallucinations in the sense that hallucinations are a disorder. This is a very useful and organized evidence. It is an amazing ability if you are thinking about it, and it is a kind of hints in this idea that we, as human beings, we have never been alone, and we have this ability to invite this resource when we need it in our lives.
