Melvin M. VOPSON: We have long have taken over it that gravity is one of the basic powers of nature – one of the invisible strings that maintain the universe sewn together. But suppose this is not true. Suppose the law of gravity is simply an echo of something more fundamental: a secondary result of the universe operating under a computer -like symbol.
This is the hypothesis of my latest research, Published In AIP journal. It indicates that gravity is not a mysterious force that attracts things towards each other, but the product of a media law for nature is called the second law of dynamics.
It is an idea that looks like science fiction – but it exists in physics and evidence that the universe seems to be suspiciously working like computer simulation.
In digital technologies, to the applications in your phone and the electronic space world, the efficiency is the key. Computers press their data and lead to restructuring their data all the time to save memory and computer energy. Perhaps the same thing happens throughout the universe?
Information theory and mathematical study to measure, store and communicate information may help us understand what is going on. It was originally developed by mathematician Claude Shannon, and has become increasingly popular in physics and is used in an increasing group of research areas.
In 2023 paperInformation theory was used to a second legal proposal for dynamics.
This stipulates that the “entropy” information, or the level of non -organizing information, will have to reduce or stay fixed in any closed information system. This is the opposite of the second famous law of thermal dynamics, which dictates this physical anthropia, or the disorder, is always increasing.
Take a cup of coffee cooling. The energy flows from hot to cold until the coffee temperature is the same as the room temperature and its minimum energy – a condition called thermal balance. The system entrance to the system is the maximum level of this stage – with the spread of all molecules in a maximum, with the same energy. What this means is that the spread of energies for each molecule in the liquid is reduced.
If one looks at the content of the information for each molecule based on its capacity, then at first, in the hot coffee cup, entropy is the maximum information and in the balance, the entropy of information is minimal information. This is because almost all particles are at the same level of energy, and they become identical letters in a media message. Therefore, the spread of the various available energies is reduced when there is a thermal balance.
But if we look at a site only instead of energy, there are a lot of information disorders when molecules are randomly distributed in space – the information required to keep pace with them. When they unite themselves together under the attractiveness of gravity, however, the way the planets, stars and galaxies do, the information is pressed and more manageable.
In simulations, this is exactly what happens when the system tries to work more efficiently. Therefore, the material that flows under the influence of gravity should not be due to force at all. It may be a sign of the way the universe presses the information that it must work with.
Here, the space is not continuous and smooth. The space consists of small “cells” of information, similar to pixels in a picture or squares on the computer game screen. In each cell, there is basic information about the universe – where, for example, the particle – all of them are collected together to make the fabric of the universe.
If you put elements inside this space, the system becomes more complicated. But when all these elements collect to be one element instead of many, the information is simple again.
The universe, according to this opinion, tends to seek naturally to be in cases of minimal information. The real Kicker is that if you do the numbers, the “media power” that the entity that this trend has created towards simplicity is completely equivalent to the law of Newton’s attractiveness, as shown in my country paper.
This theory depends on previous studies on “entropy gravity” but it is going forward. In connecting the dynamics of information with gravity, we restore an interesting conclusion that the universe can work on a kind of cosmic software. In the artificial universe, the maximum efficiency rules are expected. It is expected to symmetry. It is expected to press.
And the law – that is, gravity – is expected to come out of these mathematical rules.
We may not have final evidence that we live in simulation. But the deeper we look, the more it appears that our world is behaving like a The mathematical process.
