Not so long ago, I wrote an article on this code called Did psychology had enough experts? Which was about Steve Mira and the so -called stellar university through which people can study certified courses and which were issued by instructions on how to become a good paranormal investigator. Many of the claims made by Mira are doubtful, and if she was not aware of the case, I recommend you Read this article before follow -up. You may be surprised or not surprised when I learned that after the publication of my blog, many other people were contacted to indicate that – like Dr. Nofila – did not have permission or their names for use on the website as “shareholders” in the course of the training course.
After many aggressive negative emails for me from people claiming to represent Mira and Stellar University, the entire site has been deleted. The course is still available on the “Phenomena Magazine” site produced by the MERA. Interestingly, I was never evidence that Mira has legitimate degrees or a doctorate degree as required, so I am still skeptical about it. I would like to urge people to be very careful when dealing with the claims made by Mira and his colleagues.
The paranormal researchers want to be serious regardless of what their methodology or personal belief systems may be. Who does not want to be taken seriously, right? However, although there are many ways through which people can be trained to be ghost investigators, it is time often. The delicate paranormal investigator can be good in what they do regardless of any training or official education. Many courses (if not all) are the courses offered by ghost hunters unable and it seems that they are studying the biased methods of investigation that assume that the superpowers are the reason for the investigation of phenomena (for example electronic vocal in appearance, the EMF is excessive, this is the alleged contraction. An argument from power Or an appeal to power.
But even courses that teach appropriate scientific methodologies do not generally help. The Association of the Scientific Study of anomalies (ASSAP) provides training for members who is said to help them to be good investigators, and as a result, trained members become “accredited investigators” known as AAIS.
However, the only people who know what AII are ASSAP members or familiar people are the arrest.
Certainly, you may have ghost investigators who know how to apply scientific methodologies to paranormal cases, but it is unlikely that the audience is able to tell the ghost hunter with a bad method regardless of the ghost hunter with a good methodology, does this really help? And knowing how to be a good researcher does not mean that you will be a good researcher. I can only wonder how reliable training of training when I see what is called AAIS is working as part of the ghost hunting team or searching in a way that indicates that they were not really noticing, or in the depths of the heart, they want to find a ghost with a wonderful title that makes them justify.
In 2013, ASSAP launched an accredited institution. As one of the experimental students, I think we reached the first unit that was called “science” before canceling the course in 2014 because it was launched before carrying out all preparatory work. In the e -mail that was sent about this, we were told that when we launched the training course, that was because I (the teacher) was directed to its launch on October 31. It was not really realistic, but I made my best to comply, and it was a pleasure to get to know many of you. Fortunately, you will now get the course you deserve. ‘
Halloween launch. How to circumvent.
“The process was educational for us as well as for you, and we found that we needed to make a number of changes on the course to ensure that we are providing a better experience for our wonderful students. As a result, we temporarily stop the effective course on May 21. We plan to restart the course in its improved form in March 2015,” said a statement from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sarah Sablman.
As much as he realized, this hasn’t happened yet.
You may read this and think I am a hypocrite. I went in one of these courses, after all, but I welcome doubt in my own research. If I am doing something wrong, I welcome criticism (the evidence -based) and I am ready to change my opinion if new information is presented to me – in fact, I am excited to learn more about the causes of super experts and adopt new information. You don’t have to go in a cycle to earn an open mind.
We must deal with those who have ghost hunting qualifications with a lot of doubts as we deal with those who do not treat. In fact, it can be said that we must deal with them with more doubts because, like Mira, it may not be everything that appears to be, and rehabilitation allegations can be made as a stab. There are academic academics and fields that play an important role in supernatural research such as neuroscience, psychology, psychology, environment, physics and more … but these scientists can present a scientific perspective on the nature of ghost experiences and existence in the broader context of human experience, while the so -called AAIS researchers and qualified appearance. We all know how the scientific can be.
