Nervous millennium generation: Is astrology real?

0

Welcome. My name is Haley, and I am the millennium. I was born in 1987, I grew up in a child in the nineties (with the best collection of Pokemon cards on my street), and like a large majority of my millennial colleagues, I am lying without my God.

You maybe Know that less young people believe that you should follow religious teachings to be an ethical person, and in this way they do not define as religious. However, you may not know that as a result of this many young people resort to spirituality to find the meaning of life and answers they are looking for, (Edwards, 2017).

Witchcraft en vogue also seems to be, as Instagram, ETSY stores, Facebook ads, starting from SMUDGE sticks, OUJA panels, charming clothes and crystal networks are countless. I was always interested in how women turned from being “cunning women” who used herbs and popular magic and were not identified as coasts, to actively use their identities as a sense of empowerment statements and even as ports of political and social activity.

He gave me a lot of food to think because on the one hand, I think there are positives for people who adopt self -care and thinking, but on the other hand, there are negatives that need to be considered when this thinking comes at the expense of superstitious thinking and the anti -mark speech.

In this post, I will focus on a specific one side of this millennial sedition – astrology.

The number of people who believe that astrology has a scientific basis that grows in the direction. In his 2011 research on the reason why people believe that astrology is scientific, I assume that I blame that such beliefs may stem from three reasons. The first is that people “lack the erasure of the scientific illiteracy necessary to distinguish between science and false science”, and the second in which people feel confused about what is astrology in reality “in the first place, and the last reason that was proposed is” derived from the work of Adorno on tyranny “that connects” those who adhere to authoritarian values ”probably to believe in foul allegations.” By reviewing data from a European survey that includes 30,000 people from 25 countries throughout the European Union, he found a support for all the three components of its hypothesis, indicating the importance of scientific literacy in society, (MCAVOY, 2014).

In addition to the research conducted by Illam, in their search for faith in astrology, Power and Durant (1997) assumed that “the belief in astrology may be an indication of the disintegration of society, its accompanying sense and anxiety.” Certainly there is a lot that we should be concerned about in the turbulent times that we currently live! Power and Durant concluded that those who believe in astrology tend to show “intermediate levels of scientific understanding, high levels of religiosity, and low levels of religious integration.” Therefore, while visiting a science specialist, psychic, Run Caster or Palmist, this can be simply young people looking for a way to find some meaning and trend in a chaotic world. However, such non -scientific beliefs and practices do not come without risk.

Astronomical readings appear to be dedicated and significant to us because of something called the wonderful influence that causes general phrases that formulate it with intelligence that seems designed for the individual who give him. This is the effect that has been used by the less honest people in the mind, body, and events of the kind of soul where people who search for answers are often searches with their money and get this general data in return. Sometimes, these textual programs that are used from these phrases that found a good thinking community in 2015 are produced when they send secret correspondents to buy palm readings, which gives all researchers the exact readers of the same readings.

It is known to people who use the great influence in their favor to drain people from their savings in their lives, causing panic and warning with wrong warnings, issuing serious health advice and destroying life and relationships.

At the present time, life is frightening and it is not difficult to understand the reason for people to find some condolences in chaos, some meaning of randomness, and some calm in the storm … but you can do this without rejecting knowledge. Personally, life has been difficult in the past few years, and to deal with the things you went through, I explored different ways to find this calm. Now, I try to meditate at least twice a week. Although many atheists seem to be by chance of the idea, it is not actually strange for atheists and non -religious people to meditate. You don’t have to hesitate anything, burn incense, sit in a lotus position, wipe your mind, or align the chakras (not present).

I can use an application and can choose meditation for 2, 5 or 10 minutes whenever you want. Usually I try to do it in the morning before the morning routine to make me on this day, but being the millennial generation is not organized means that I usually remember doing it several times a week. Just now it does not give me time in a routine for breathing and not doing anything, there is serious psychological research (although he is still in his childhood) showed that meditation is good for your mind, body and … well … “your soul”, (Seppälä, 2013). As an atheist, I don’t think we have souls or souls, but I think a little introverted and self -meditation are good for you, and it is definitely a healthier option than taking the advice of life from mysterious data than a stranger.
