West Asia River dries

The Cygeus Cargo spacecraft is approaching the International Space Station on August 4, 2023. The Euphrates River in Iraq is visible in the background.

The researchers have found that the Euphrates River, which flows through Türkiye, Syria and Iraq before emptying it to the Persian Gulf as the Bible predicted, is Dryness Very quickly. The researchers say that there are very real factors behind their disappearance.

The Euphrates is the largest regime in West Asia, with a basin that extends to Iran. It also flows alongside the Tigris River, and the lands surrounding the two clubs were part of the fertile crescent, which provides the ideal conditions for developing stable agriculture, which ultimately led to the emergence of some of the first urban civilizations in the world.

It is strange that the Bible warns of drying the Euphrates. In the book of revelation, the climatic conclusion of the New Testament, the Euphrates become a theater for the end of the world: “The sixth angel poured its bowl on the Great River, and its water was dried, to prepare the road for the kings of the East.”

Once fertile ground, the Tigris-Euphrates River system dries at an amazing rate. In fact, experts in the Ministry of Water Resources in Iraq said that rivers may dry out completely by 2040 due to the low levels of water and drought caused by climate change.

Notes indicate that within only a few decades, flows in the Tigris-Euphrates River system decreased to nearly half of the average annual flow in the years of dehydration. Satellite images also show that the Tigris and Euphrates river ponds lost 144 cubic kilometers of fresh water between 2003 and 2013. As a result, the water levels in the water system have become some of the lowest level.

One of the main reasons for drying the river system is the climate crisis faced by the world. Unfortunately, the Middle East is one of the most vulnerable areas of climate change, which scientists believe is worse.

The bad news of the environment does not preach good for people. About 60 million people depend on the water from the Euphrates River system to receive their lives, most of them in Türkiye and Iraq. Since 2000, international cooperation in the Tigris-Euphrates Basin has stopped, which fueling both local competitions and geopolitical tensions between the screens of the river system.

Moreover, experts fear that this century can see a series of “water wars” in which countries are fighting about reaching water resources. Along with the danger of conflict and violence, the disease is another great concern: scientists fear cholera, chickenpox, measles and aldeid.
